Whittier Award Program Honors the Achievement
WHITTIER, Calif. - Memorial Stadium has been selected for the 2017 Best of Whittier Award in the Stadiums category by the Whittier Award Program this past week.
Each year, the Whittier Award Program identifies companies that have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and the community. These exceptional companies help make the Whittier area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2017 Whittier Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Whittier Award Program and data provided by third parties.
Memorial Stadium and the Aubrey Bonham Track are currently undergoing a major renovation, which will include new Field Turf and a Benyon synthetic track surface to be completed in late August. This project will now allow football, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's lacrosse, and men's & women's track & field to compete on one of the nicest facilities in the Greater Los Angeles area.
