Purple & Gold Club

The Purple & Gold Club is the primary support group for the Whittier College Athletics Department. Through its dedicated fundraising efforts, the Purple & Gold Club serves as a valuable resource for special athletic needs. These needs include travel expenses for out-of-state tournaments, training equipment, facility improvements, athletic shoes, awards and other items to enhance the men's and women's programs. Annual contributions help support all 21 intercollegiate atheltic teams, involving nearly one-third of the students at Whittier.

In addition to fundraising, the Purple & Gold Club is also active in the lives of Poet student-athletes through sponsorship of annual events such as the fall tailgate party, the Purple & Gold Men's and Women's Basketball Classic, the All-Sports Awards Banquet, the Purple & Gold Golf tournament and the Hall of Fame Induction Dinner.
