Fore Whittier's Sake
Purple & Gold's annual fundraiser, the Golf Tournament and Silent Auction, is slated to tee off on Friday, Mary 8, 2009, at Industry Hills Golf Club at the Pacific Palms Resort. If you have any questions please contact Mike Rizzo at 562.907.4967.

Purple & Gold (P&G) is the primary support group for the Whittier College athletics program. Through its dedicated fundraising efforts, P&G serves as a valuable resource for special athletic needs, including travel expenses for out-of-state tournaments, training equipment, facility improvements, athletic shoes, awards, and other items to enhance the men's and women's sports programs. Annual contributions help support all 21 intercollegiate athletic teams, involving nearly one-third of the men and women who are students at the College.

In addition to fundraising, P&G is also active in the lives of Poet student-athletes through sponsorship of annual events, such as the fall tailgate party, the P&G Basketball Classic, the All-Sports Awards Banquet, and the Hall of Fame Induction Dinner.
