2017 Whittier College Football Schedule

WHITTIER, Calif. – Whittier College Head Football Coach Mike Neale released his 2017 Schedule Thursday, which includes four home games and a trip to Washington.

Coming off his inaugural season at the helm of the program and a tough 0-9 start, Neale looks forward to seeing his first recruiting class come in to make an immediate impact.

He opens the schedule on the road on September 9 against Whitworth University before returning home two weeks later to host Arizona Christian University on September 23, which would wrap up the non-conference portion.

The Purple & Gold open up Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) play to end September on the 30 as they take on Claremont-M-S before a road contest with the Panthers of Chapman University (October 7).

Whittier goes back and forth with home and away immediately following with a game against Pomona-Pitzer (October 14), Cal Lutheran (October 21), and Occidental (October 28).

The game against the Tigers will be the battle for the coveted "Shoes" Trophy and will coincide with Senior Day and Homecoming.  Kick-Off is set for 5:00pm.

The last two games on the schedule will be on the road and will happen in November against Redlands (November 4) and La Verne (November 11).
