Whittier did not field a football team from 1942 to 1945 because of World War II
In 1950, Whittier defeated the Mexican All-Stars in the first Annual Aztec Bowl. That win is reflected in Wallace Newman's overall record.
In 1952, Whittier lost to San Francisco State but was later awarded a win via forfeit. That win is reflected in George Allen's overall record.
In 1956 and 1957, Whittier played, and won, games against the Barstow Marines. These wins are not reflected on the coaching records of George Allen and Don Coryell.
In 1974, Whittier defeated the Tokoyo Silver Stars, a Japanese All-Star team. That win does not count towards John Godfrey's overall record.
