Golf Beats La Sierra at Friendly Hills

On Thursday afternoon, 5 Whittier College Poet golfers and 6 La Sierra Golden Eagles set out at Friendly Hills Country Club for a non-conference match. Wes Carty led the pack, finishing with a score of 75, with his next closest opponent, La Sierra's Ryan Butterfield, who shot an 83. Whittier combined for 341 points, which gave them a victory over La Sierra (383). The scores that complied the totals are seen below:
