Two Men's Basketball Players Earn All-SCIAC Honors

Jeff McLean '09 and Tim Fanning '07 were selected as members of the 2006-07 All-SCIAC Second Team as voted by conference head coaches last week. 

McLean was second for the Poets with 11.8 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per game.  He was 12th in the conference in points per game and ninth in the conference in rebounds.  McLean shot 58 percent from the field, second in the SCIAC. He was fourth in the SCIAC with 29 blocked shots this season.

Fanning was forth in scoring for the Poets, scoring 10.6 points per game.  He led the team with 31 steals and 59 three-point field goals made.  Fanning was 17th in the conference in scoring.  He was 11th in the SCIAC in steals and fourth in three-point field goal percentage.  He finished sixth in the conference in three's made.
