Kennedy selected to Division III PING All-West Regional Team
Division III PING All-Region honorees have been announced by the GCAA. Players across six regions - Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Great Lakes, Central and West - earned all-region honors for 2012.

Doug Kennedy qualifies for NCAA Div. III Golf Championships
Senior Doug Kennedy who earned 2nd Team All-SCIAC recognition last week for his 13th place finish in the SCIAC Championships qualified for the NCAA Div. III Golf Championships set to take place May 15-18 with 210 participants.

Kennedy named to All-SCIAC second-team
Following the 2012 SCIAC Championships at Diamond Valley Country Club in Hemet, Calif., the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference released its all-conference teams and Doug Kennedy was honored as a second-team selection.

Men’s Golf finishes fifth at SCIAC Championships
Whittier shot a 303 (+6) led by the round of 73 (+1) from Greg Garcia. The Poets took over sole possession of sixth place at the 2012 SCIAC Championships at Diamond Valley Golf Club on Monday.

The Whittier College golf team competed in their final regular season SCIAC event at Tukwet Canyon Golf Club located in Riverside, Calif. and finished tied for 3rd with Occidental with an overall score of 315.

New golf rankings come out Poets jump up to No. 24
The new golf rankings for Div. III have been announced and Whittier College jumps up in the rankings from No. 35 to No. 24 making their biggest jump in the rankings thus far this season.

The Whittier College golf team who has improved their national ranking to No. 35 in Div. III took home first place honors in their Whittier Invitational yesterday afternoon with an overall score of a 293.

Poets finish third at Lamkin Grip Invitational
Three Poets broke the 80-barrier as the Whittier College golf team took home third place honors at the Lamkin Grip Invitational at Sierra La Verne Country Club on Thursday afternoon to open their 2012 campaign. As a team Whittier shot a 308.
