Austin Atwell is in his fourth and final season with the Poets.  Atwell was born in Gross Pointe, Michigan but spent most of his childhood growing up in Rumson, New Jersey.  He was introduced to the sport of lacrosse at the age of twelve.  Austin's passion for the game grew after his first experiences learning the game through his school.  He went on to play for Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School, where he earned All-Conference and Division honors two years, Captains award, and severed as his team's captain.  Austin also lettered in Football, where he received honors of All-State, All-Conference, and All-Division, along with the Lombardi Award for Most Outstanding Lineman in Central Jersey.  He is a Business Administration/Political Science major at Whittier, and hopes to become a USMC Officer.  Austin enjoys fishing, golf, and hunting.  He credits his success to his grandfather and mother Laura.
