Corey Schab is a second year member of the Poets lacrosse team.  Schab was born in Asuncion, Paraguay and spent the majority of his childhood in Lewes, Delaware.  He discovered lacrosse around fourth grade, and was introduced by his friends and family who played the sport.  Corey went on to play for Cape Henlopen High School, where he graduated in 2006.  During his high school career he earned All-State and All-American honors; his team also competed and won the State Championships.  In his senior year Corey racked up 48 goals.  Here at Whittier Corey is studying as a Biology major, and hopes to some day become a Research Scientist or Zoologist.  Outside of lacrosse Corey enjoys surfing, skim boarding, fishing, going to the beach, and other outdoor activities.  His childhood sports hero was Michael Jordan.  Corey credits his parents for helping with his successes in life.
