David Barr is a third year member of the Poets lacrosse team.  He was born in Scottsdale, Ariz. and raised for most of his childhood in Paradise Valley, Ariz.  David began playing lacrosse at the age of fourteen; he picked up lacrosse as a second sport, to play when he wasn't in football.  At Chaparral High School David help his team to earn three State Championships.  During his career David also earned two All-State awards in both his junior and senior years.  He is studying as a Political Science major at Whittier, with minor in Anthropology.  He hopes to someday achieve his professional goal and pursuit a career as an Attorney and Politician.  Outside of lacrosse David enjoys reading, playing video games, and being overly supportive of Arizona professional sports teams.  He thanks and credits his parents Dan and Karen; and his brother Andrew for helping him reach this point in his life.
