Union (N.Y.) gets the best of Whittier

STANFORD, Calif. - The Whittier College men's lacrosse team lost its second consecutive game at a neutral site this past weekend, March 23, as Union (N.Y.) College defeated the Poets, 8-5, at Stanford University.

WC (4-5) was led by Anthony Lackey who had a team-high three points (1g, 2a).

The Poets trailed 4-3 at halftime but was outscored 4-2 over the final 30 minutes en route to the loss.

Daniel McQuade (2g) and Christian Wright (2a) each had two points while Matt Mulry and Charles Fisher each scored a goal.

Goalie Ben Brown made 13 saves in the loss.
