Men's Soccer Loses to Redlands, Poets Now 0-4 in SCIAC Play

Whittier College suffered a 7-0 road loss to the University of Redlands in a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game on September 27.  The Poets Fall to 2-5 overall and 0-4 in the SCIAC while the Bulldogs improve their record to 8-1 overall and 3-1 in SCIAC play.

Cody Sowa '10 and Micheal Read '10 combined to make four saves.  Whitier was out shot 34-1 in the game and gave up 12 corner kicks.  Redlands scored on two penalty kicks in the game.  They started the scoring in the 17th minute and took a 3-0 lead into halftime.  Their final goal came on a penalty kick in the 85th minute.
