Three Poets earn All-SCIAC recognition
The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference released the other day the 2011-12 Men’s & Women's Swimming and Diving All-SCIAC teams and Whittier had three athletes obtain All-SCIAC honors including Tyler Aisner, Erin Bartholomew, and Evelyn Beguristain.

Poets conclude SCIAC Championships; Bring home two first place finishes
The Whittier College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams concluded Day 3 of the SCIAC Championships, as the men jumped up a spot to finish 5th with a score of 311 while the women stayed put in 6th with a score of 297.

Whittier concludes day one of SCIAC Championships
After day one of the SCIAC Championships, the men’s swimming & diving team sit in 6th place with 102 points, while the women sit in 5th with 103.

Tyler Aisner advances to SCIAC Finals; Zmuda finishes 14th
The University of Redlands hosted the 2012 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Diving Prelims at the beautiful Thompson Aquatic Center on Saturday and Sunday. Amidst some of the best diving competition within the conference in quite some time, the winners of each event all recorded NCAA Division III qualifying scores for a championship meet.

Poets close out regular season with nail biter against Kingsmen 122-118
The Whittier College men’s swimming & diving team for the third straight week was able to compete in the newly renovated Lillian Slade Aquatic Center and have now won two of their last three contests winning in a nail biter over Cal Lutheran 122-118 on senior day.

The Whittier College men’s swimming & diving team had their second straight meet in the friendly confines of the Lillian Slade Aquatic Center but was unable to upset the Bulldogs of the University of Redlands this past Saturday morning.

Nine pool records set in SCIAC win over Leopards
It’s been nearly two years since the Poets have had a home swim meet and yesterday morning the newly renovated Lillian Slade Aquatic Center proved to be a sight to see as the Whittier College men’s swimming and diving team set nine pool records in their 144-89 victory over the Leopards.

The Whittier College men’s swimming & diving team made their SCIAC opener a against the Sagehens of Pomona-Pitzer a matchup that will be remembered for the rest of the season as it all came down to the final event, but Whittier ultimately fell 125-112.

Aisner dives into record books at Bulldog Dive Invite
Whittier College’s Tyler Aisner took to his first dive competition of the 2011-12 season at the Bulldog Dive Invite and came away with a 2nd place finish in the 1M, 3rd place honors in the 3M, and two Whittier College records.

The Whittier men’s swimming & diving team competed in the Bulldog Swim Invite Saturday morning for their first contest of the 2011-12 season and finished in 6th place in front of Chapman University and the University of La Verne with a score of 56.
