Sophomore Andrew Hansen continues his tear both in singles and doubles winning at No. 2 doubles with partner Chris Schommer 8-4 and then following that up with a straight sets victory 6-3, 6-2 at No. 5 singles.
Shimizu and Schommer won their respective matches within seconds of each other to give Whittier their 4th and 5th points with Schommer's clinching the 7-2 victory at No. 3 singles.
Herron came roaring back at No. 4 singles after suffering a loss in the first set tiebreak 7-6(4) to dominate the second set 6-1, and then taking the super tiebreaker 10-7.
