Poets wrap up SCIAC Championships with 7-2 win over Occidental; Finish 5th in SCIAC standings

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Whittier College men's tennis team wrapped up their 2011-12 season with a 5^th place finish in the SCIAC Championships by defeating Occidental College 7-2 Saturday afternoon.

Claremont-M-S took home the SCIAC Title by defeating Pomona-Pitzer 6-3 in the final, while Cal Lutheran held on for a 5-4 victory over Redlands to take third.
