Water Polo Falls in Home Opener, Zerbe '07 Scores Four Times

Jake Zerbe '07 scored four goals for the Poets, but Whittier College lost its first home game this season 11-8 to Pomona-Pitzer Colleges on October 18.  The Poets are now 5-14 overall and 0-2 in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. 

Zerbe also had four drawn penalties and an assist.  Chris Kirby '09 scored twice for the Poets.  Matt Brammer '09 made 13 saves in goal.
