Men’s Water Polo moves atop CWPA Div. III National Polls

WHITTIER, Calif. – The Whittier College Men's Water Polo team has found themselves back atop the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III National Polls announced Wednesday.

Along with that jump, the Purple & Gold also received votes in the Varsity Top 20 Poll.  Currently they are on a tear winning six straight and are 7-7 and a perfect 4-0 in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) play.

The Poets are tied atop the Division III standings with Pomona-Pitzer each receiving 94 points.  MIT follows in a close 2nd with 93, while Chapman (85), and Claremont-M-S (79) round out the top 5. 

Inside of the Varsity Top 20 Polls, Whittier earned four points and have wins over Pomona-Pitzer (No. 19 - 7) and Loyola Marymount (RV – 1) within the rankings.
