2017 Men's Cross-Country All-SCIAC Teams

WHITTIER, Calif. – The 2017 All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Men's Cross Country teams were announced Thursday. First Team All-SCIAC honors were determined by the top 10 finishers at the SCIAC Championships, while the Second Team All-SCIAC members were determined by the next 10 to cross the finish line. The Newcomer, Ray Adkinson, and Coaching Staff of the Year accolades were voted on by the league's member head coaches.

Junior Julian Sandoval (El Monte, Calif.) earned 1st Team All-SCIAC recognition for the second year in a row after posting a 2nd Place overall finish at the SCIAC Championships with a time of 25:44.85. 

Freshman Benjamin White (La Habra Heights, Calif.) continues to impress as he wrapped up his conference campaign with an 11th place finish at the Championships, which placed him on the All-SCIAC 2nd Team.    

SCIAC Athlete of the Year – Andy Reischling (Pomona-Pitzer)

SCIAC Newcomer of the Year – Benjamin White (Whittier College)

Ray Adkinson Award Winner – Keenan Leary (Occidental College)

SCIAC Coaching Staff of the Year – Jordan Carpenter (Pomona-Pitzer)
