Softball Begins SCIAC Season Sweeping Oxy, Pacheco '10 Finishes with Five Hits, Five RBI

was 5-for-7 with five RBI to lead Whittier College to a doubleheader sweep over Occidental College to open play in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference on February 17.  The Poets are now 3-3 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
