Softball Splits With Claremont, Pacheco '10 Three RBI Lead Poets to Game Two Win

went 7-for-8 with four RBI, four runs scored, two home runs and a double as Whittier College split a conference doubleheader with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in Whittier, Calif. on March 4.  Claremont (4-9, 2-4 SCIAC) took game one by a score of 10-7, but Whittier (10-4, 5-1 SCIAC) came back and won game two, 8-0 in six innings.
