Dave Hogan is entering his third year as the head coach of the Whittier College track & field program. He has over 30 years of coaching experience on his resume which includes 25 years in track & field and 10 years in football.

In his first two years at Whittier he has produced 27 all-SCIAC student-athletes, three conference champions, four national qualifiers, two national competitors and one All-American.

Hogan's coaching resume includes stints at Valley Christian High School from 1974-1987 where he was an assistant football coach and throws and sprints coach in track. From 1985-1987 he was the girls track & field head coach at Valley Christian.

After his time at Valley Christian he moved to Maranatha High School where he was the head coach of the football team from 1988-1992 and also served as the throws and sprints coach for track & field.

Hogan returned to Valley Chrisitan in 1995 and worked as a coach with track & field through the 2006 season. In 2001 he was named the head coach of the track program.

All in all Hogan has seen over 50 of his former high school student-athletes go on to compete at the college level.

Hogan has been married to his wife, Faith Hogan, for 25 years. They have a daughter, Tammy, who is set to graduate college this year and a son, Sean, who is a sophomore in college.
