Women's Basketball Loses at La Sierra, Wingo '07 Scores Game-High 15

scored a game-high 15 points, but Whittier College lost 59-43 on the road against La Sierra University on December 1. 

Wingo was six-of-eight from the field and pulled down six rebounds.  Rosario Rios-Aguilar '08 scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds.  Michelle Mascoto '07, Christa Rainville '08 and Melissa Johnson '10 finished with seven rebounds apiece.  The Poets held a 29-27 edge at halftime, but scored just 14 points in the second half.
