Whittier Coaching Accomplishments

2009-10
Whittier ranked third in the conference in scoring offense, third in the conference in rebounding offense, second in the conference in assists, first in the conference in steals, first in the conference in turnover margin and third in the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio.

Durchslag landed two student-athletes on the all-conference team.

2008-09
The Poets finished fourth in the SCIAC in the regular season and qualified for the SCIAC postseason tournament. Whittier's offense ranked first in the conference in scoring and third in rebounding.

Durchslag saw Kourtney Zilbert land on the D3hoops.com All-West Region team and the all-conference squad.

Other College Coaching Accomplishments

2006-08
Durchslag served as the first assistant and recruiting coordinator at Division I Jacksonville State.

2005-06
Durchslag served as the fist assistant at Carnegie Mellon.

2001-05
Durchslag served as the first assistant for four seasons at Trintiy (Texas). While with the Tigers, he helped the team to a 93-22 record which includes the Division III National Championship that the team won in the 2002-03 season. The Tigers advanced to the Regional Semifinals in 2004-05.

Other Accomplishments

Durchslag holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications with a minor in Kinesiology and Business Law.

He holds a Master's Degree in Eduction with a concentration in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio (2004).
