Jamie Durchslag is in her secondseason with the Whittier College women's basketball program where she serves as an assistant coach. Prior to joining the Poet staff she was an assistant coach at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Ala.

While in Jacksonville she helped guide the Gamecocks to the Ohio Valley Conference tournament during the 2007-08 season.

Durchslag is a 2004 graduate of Marshall University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. She also earned her Mater's degree in Athletic Administration from Marshall in 2006. During her graduate years with the Thundering Herd she served as a graduate assistant for the 2005-06 team that advanced to the Conference-USA semifinals.

A native of Houston, Texas, she earned Academic All-Conference honors in both the 2003-04 and the 2004-05 seasons.
