Staci Williams is entering her second season as the head coach at Whittier College after taking the poets to a 6-11 2012 season. Williams has adopted a take charge attitude and has guided five poets to the All-SCIAC roster, one poet to the 1st team All-West Region roster and helped the entire team earn a spot on IWLCA All-Academic Team List.
Williams comes to Whittier College with an extensive lacrosse background. Williams was a starter for Canisius College where she set a school record for most assists and was second for most goals during her tenure. She was also name most valuable attack player each year she played.
After graduating with a BA in Art History, Williams went on to coach at Buffalo State College leading them to their first winning season in school history and bringing in their first recruiting class. While pursuing her Master’s degree in Sports Administration, Williams coached at Villanova University with primary responsibilities on offense, travel and fundraising.
While moving around the country being a Navy Spouse, Williams stayed involved with lacrosse at Nansemond Suffolk Academy, starting a post-collegiate league and running a summer program in Virginia Beach/Hampton Roads area. She also helped with the local Thousand Oaks Club team for one year before starting at Whittier College.
Williams is currently residing in Whittier with her Husband Garrett Williams and her newborn Konner Williams.
