Mayra Murillo is in her third season as a member of the Poets soccer team. She was born in Bellflower, California. She started playing soccer when she was nine because she liked the sport. She went on to play for Bell Gardens where her team was league champions. She earned honor roll and MVP. She is majoring in Spanish and is undecided on her future occupation at this time. She credits her success to her family.
