Megan Wessel is in her first season as a member of the Poets soccer team. She was born in Pomona, California, but spent the majority of her childhood in Golden, CO. She started playing soccer when she was five because she liked to run. She went on to play for Golden High School where her team was league champions and undefeated. She is planning on majoring in Political Science and hopes to some day work as a Lawyer. She credits her success to her mom.
