Whitney Pate is in her first season as a member of the Poets soccer team. She was born in Bishop, California. She started playing soccer when she was five because her parents put her in the AYSO league and she loved it. She went on to play for Bishop Union High School where she earned first and second team high desert league, first team CIF and team MVP. She is planning on majoring in Kinesiology and hopes to some day work as a Physical Therapist. She credits her success to her whole family, teachers and coaches.
