Sea Gulls fly past Poets, 9-0

WHITTIER, Calif. - The Whittier College women's tennis team lost to Salisbury University, 9-0, on Monday night at the Ettinger Tennis Courts. Freshman Katie Davidson won a match-high three games at No. 4 singles for the Poets.

Rachel Aelion-Moss and Madison Stern were able to win sets at No. 1 doubles but it wasn't enough as they lost 8-2.

Aelion-Moss was one of four WC singles players to win at least one game. Maryrose Vigorita and Aelion-Moss each won one game while Hannah Whitehurst won a game in each set.

The Poets return to action on Friday, March 20, as they host Colorado College at 3:00 p.m.
