On the men's side, junior quarterback Tommy Edwards from Occidental College earned recognition for his outstanding achievement on the football field by throwing for 387 yards on 24-34 passing, four TDs and no turnovers in a 34-21 come-from-behind win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Saturday, despite being sacked five times and hurried on several other throws.  The junior quarterback helped Oxy erase a 13-point halftime deficit with 28 points in the second half, had three receivers go for more than 100 yards and hit Ryan Rodriguez for an 73 yard TD that gave the Tigers a 27-21 lead in the fourth quarter.
