ACWPC announce women's water polo All-Academic awards

WHITTIER, Calif. - The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches announced this week the 2012 Women's All-Academic Award recipients. This year's awards went out to one of the largest fields ever, almost 400 student-athletes who exemplified hard-work and determination throughout the season.

The All-Academic Awards were broken up into three categories and the purple and gold had six award recipients including:

Oustanding (4.00-3.71 g.p.a)

Terrileigh Shepherd (So.)

Melanie Peel (Jr.)

Superior (3.70-3.41 g.p.a)

Jae Crabtree (Jr.)

Arianna Weisenburger (Graduated)

Melissa Reynoso (Graduated)

Excellent (3.40-3.20 g.p.a)

Katrina Thoreson (Graduated)
