WHITTIER, Calif. - The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announced this week their ACWPC All-American Teams and Whittier College saw Anastacia Gonzalez (Montebello, Calif.) and Kendyl Riley (Huntington Beach, Calif.) get recognized.

Gonzalez earns recognition for the second year in a row but this time finds herself on the 2nd Team, while Riley earns Honorable Mention accolades for the first time in her career.

This season Gonzalez led the Purple & Gold to the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Post Season Tournament and was named 1st Team All-SCIAC.  She totaled 37 goals and six assists, while shooting .435 on the season.  She also added eight drawn exclusions sand 35 steals.

Riley was the Poets leading 2-meter player finishing with 20 goals inside set.  She had a .313 shot percentage with 16 steals and five drawn exclusions.
