Marco Leone is in his first season as a member of the Poets cross country team. He was born in Palo Alto, CA. He started running when he was sixteen because he did a season of track and decided to try cross country. He went on to run for Mountain View High School where he earned coaches award. He is majoring in English and hopes to some day work as a Columnist, script writer, poet and author. He credits his success to his Aunt Genevieve, mom and dad, Sarah Tanaka, Alyssa Breetnor, Marcia Babiak, Kathy Deur, and Evan Smith.
