Candace Wray is in her first season as a member of the Poets cross country team. She was born in Rocklin, CA. She started running when she was a sophomore because she really enjoyed track her freshman year. She went on to run for Rocklin High School where she earned cross country MVP and captain. She is undecided on her major at this time. She credits her success to her parents, older brother, team mates, and high school coaches.
